For the past couple of days, there has been discussion in countries all over the world on the topic of a joke published in the humor section "Kranaat" of Eesti Ekspress.

Eesti Ekspress would like to confirm that the joke was ironic, where fun was made of the gas company in Estonia who used a photo from Auschwitz concentration camp on their website. Using such photo seemed completely inappropriate to Eesti Ekspress.
The ridicule was not at the expense of any nation or anyone who has suffered in concentration camps, but at the expense of the Estonian company in question.
Eesti Ekspress apologises to the people who were offended by this ironic joke.
