Director of SWK Jerusalem Office Efraim Zuroff confirmed the plan to place announcements to Estonian newspapers.

He told also that there are still some technical details, which have to be confirmed.

«Therefore I cannot give you a hundred percent guarantee that the announcement will be published next week,» told Zuroff.

The announcements in Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian newspapers ask for information about people who committed war crimes while serving the Nazis during WWII. The idea is part of joint project of SWK and Miami-originated Targum Shlish fund «Operation «Last chance»».

The organisations will pay USD 10,000 (about EEK 157,000) to people whose information will help to convict a war criminal.
