'I'll Rest When the Last Nazi is in His Grave'

Germany's Simon Wiesenthal Center has implemented another campaign in the quest to bring Nazi war criminals to justice. The Center is sponsoring a program, "Operation Last Chance 2", where thousands of posters are being put up in 10 cities throughout Germany promising a substantial cash reward of up to €25,000 (approximately US$34,000) for information leading to the capture of Nazi war criminals and collaborators. The posters read, "It's Late - But Not Too Late".

The 'Last Nazi Hunter', Dr. Efraim Zuroff, who heads Israel's Simon Wiesenthal Center, has said that the campaign, which was launched in July, has had an overwhelming response. 111 tips have been called in so far, of which several have resulted in prosecutorial action.
