A HOLOCAUST survivor yesterday called for justice against the world’s most wanted Nazi war criminal — tracked down by The Sun.

Ladislaus Csizsik-Csatary, 97, helped send 15,700 Jews to die at the notorious Auschwitz death camp in 1944.

As a police commander in charge of a Jewish ghetto in Kassa, Hungary, during World War Two, he lashed women with a whip and ordered random mass torture sessions.

But he fled after the Allied victory and was later sentenced to death in his absence.

The Sun told yesterday how we traced him to his Budapest bolthole. We also found Yishayahu Schachar — one of the few remaining Kassa Jews who encountered Csizsik-Csatary.

Speaking from his home in Israel, Yishayahu, 85, said: “I worked outside the ghetto in the brick factory, cleaning. I remember Csatary loudly screaming orders at Jews.

“I didn’t work under him but heard the terrible things he did. I remember women digging a ditch with their hands on his orders. He was an evil man and I hope he is brought to justice.”
